Once the installation is complete, the bridge is expected to showcase an artistic nighttime landscape, blending exterior video projections (media facade) with the surrounding scenery.
The city expects that the new lighting will help revitalize nighttime tourism, provide visitors with new attractions, and contribute to attracting new visitors and boosting the local economy.
Due to the landscape construction, access to the suspension bridge will be restricted from August 25 to September 3. However, for the convenience of citizens and tourists, the bridge will remain open as usual on August 30 and 31.
Pocheon City plans to complete the landscape lighting installation by September 3 and to officially begin nighttime operations of the suspension bridge in connection with the "Hantangang Garden Night Tour," a nighttime program of the "Hantangang Media Art Park," which is set to open on September 26.
