with Health Leaders from Four Districts of Eastern Yangsan
On August 21, the Ungsang Public Health Center in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, held the "2025 Health Leader Capacity Building Workshop" at the Eastern Health Living Support Center.
This workshop was organized to strengthen the health knowledge and practical capabilities of health leaders, who are key players in community health promotion, and to foster a resident-led atmosphere for healthy living practices.
The event included sharing the current status of community health, discussing the roles of health leaders, presenting case studies of activities, providing education on the prevention and management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and selecting health practice priorities and pledging commitments by district.
Participants shared their thoughts, saying, "It was an opportunity to reflect once again on the role of a health leader," and "We gained confidence that it is easy to take care of our health in daily life and that we can practice a healthy lifestyle together with local residents simply by walking."
