McDonald's announced on August 21 that it will launch new McMorning menu items featuring guacamole.
The new menu consists of two items: the "Guacamole Bacon Egg Muffin" and the "Guacamole Chicken Muffin." These additions to the McMorning lineup were inspired by the popularity of the "Bacon Double Guacamole Single·Double Burger," which was introduced in May and received a positive response. The Bacon Double Guacamole Burger, made with vegetables and avocado, had generated repeated requests for a comeback from consumers who prefer trendy ingredients.
The Guacamole Bacon Egg Muffin features a harmonious combination of egg, bacon, and tomato, delivering a mild yet fresh flavor. The Guacamole Chicken Muffin includes guacamole, lettuce, and a chicken patty, making it a hearty meal suitable for breakfast.
A McDonald's representative stated, "We introduced these two new Guacamole Bacon Egg and Chicken Muffins to offer our customers a more substantial and fresh breakfast option in today's busy society. With the healthy taste of guacamole, which combines rich avocado and fresh vegetables, we hope our customers can start their mornings on a happier note with these new menu items."

Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of these new products, McDonald's will hold a "McMorning Run" event in collaboration with RunDay. The event will run for about a month starting September 1. Participants can join by running more than 1 km and uploading a verification photo to their personal social media accounts. The first 300 people to pre-register will receive a limited edition "McMorning Running Bandana," and 400 participants will be selected by lottery to receive a "McMuffin" coupon.
