Three Continuing Education Credits Awarded
Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital (Director Song Hyun) announced on August 20 that it will hold a continuing education course titled "Neurological Diseases That Private Practitioners Should Know" at Ilhyeon Hall on the 3rd floor of the main building at 3:00 p.m. on September 6.

View original imageThis course will provide an opportunity to share key clinical experiences in neurology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology, focusing on major neurological diseases. It will cover the diagnosis and latest treatment trends for conditions such as headaches, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease, all of which have seen a recent increase in patient numbers.
The course will be held in two sessions. The first session will feature lectures on: ▲ Secondary headaches to watch out for (Professor Lee Donghwan, Department of Neurology, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital); ▲ Cervicogenic headaches (Professor Nam Hyunwook, Department of Orthopedics, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital); and ▲ Ophthalmologic emergencies (Professor Jang Yeonji, Department of Ophthalmology, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital).
The second session will include: ▲ Understanding Parkinson's disease (Professor Joo Jaeyoung, Department of Neurology, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital); ▲ Diagnosing by observing gait (Professor Lee Woongwoo, Department of Neurology, Nowon Eulji University Hospital); and ▲ Understanding dementia-What is new in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease? (Professor Kim Hyungji, Department of Neurology, Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital).
Professor Park Jongmoo of the Department of Neurology at Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital said, "This is the second continuing education course for private practitioners hosted by our neurology department, and we have prepared lectures that will be practically helpful in clinical practice. We hope this will be a meaningful occasion to actively share high-quality medical information related to neurological diseases."

Advance registration for this course is available through the Joint Department of Neurology at Uijeongbu Eulji University Hospital until September 5, and on-site registration will also be possible on the day of the event. Participants will receive 3 continuing education credits from the Korean Medical Association.
