The Samhyang-eup Residents' Self-Governing Committee in Muan County, South Jeolla Province, will host the "2025 Children's Ice Water Play Festival" on August 23 at Namak Central Park in Samhyang-eup.
This festival will be held in conjunction with the Namak Central Park water playground, which opened last month, and will feature a variety of hands-on programs such as an air bounce swimming pool, ice sledding, ice treasure hunt, ice foot bath, and ice playground. In addition, family-friendly recreational activities such as a bubble show, water balloon catching, and melting ice with your whole body will also be available.
In particular, the Water Bomb Splash Show with a professional DJ is expected to be a popular program that can be enjoyed by everyone from young children to adults. In addition, with support from the Muan Southern Branch of the Korea Pork Producers Association, a pork tasting event will be held, where visitors can enjoy free sausages and bulgogi.
Baek Seungguk, Chairperson of the Samhyang-eup Residents' Self-Governing Committee, said, "We are doing our best to ensure that children can safely enjoy water play and create cool summer memories," and asked for residents' interest and participation.
