Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Donghwan) announced on the 19th that it will hold the "2026 Academic Year College Admission Early Decision Strategy Briefing" on August 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the main auditorium on the 3rd floor of Baekseok Annex, Goyang City Hall.

View original imageThis briefing session is co-hosted by Goyang Special City and the Goyang Office of Education, and organized by the Goyang City School Management Council.
The event will feature a variety of practical programs, including: a special lecture on early decision strategies by current EBS instructor Jo Manki; a customized briefing for physical education majors by Hwang Kyuhun, team leader of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's College Admission Support Group; one-on-one personalized consulting with current high school guidance counselors; and a college admission information fair with participation from more than 40 universities in the Seoul metropolitan area.
In particular, the morning early decision briefing will cover real case studies of EBS career and admission support, strategies for preparing for early decision, and analyses of successful and unsuccessful applications, providing valuable information for both students and parents.
In the afternoon, sessions will continue with topics of high interest to students, such as a briefing on managing student records for physical education majors, the latest university-specific admission information, and customized admission consulting, offering a practical roadmap for college admission.
An official from Goyang Special City stated, "This briefing goes beyond a simple college admission lecture, serving as an on-site fair where students and parents can concretely design their career and admission paths together," and added, "We will continue to actively support students' future preparation in cooperation with the local educational community."
