The union held a press conference in front of the Presidential Office in Yongsan, Seoul, on this day, asserting, "GGM management announced to union members that they had received demands from eight banks for early repayment of loans totaling 196 billion won, in an attempt to neutralize the union."
The union further emphasized, "The demand for early loan repayment constitutes a violation of the Labor-Management Win-Win Cooperation Agreement (Win-Win Agreement), and it is GGM management, not the union, that has breached the agreement. Nowhere in the Win-Win Agreement is there a 'no union, no strike' clause."
