Worker in His 40s Dies After Falling 11 Meters at Gimhae Factory Construction Site
At around 9:15 a.m. on August 17, a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, fell from an 11-meter-high steel structure to the ground at a factory construction site in Hallim-myeon, Gimhae, South Gyeongsang Province.
Mr. A sustained severe injuries from the accident and died at the scene.
He was the head of a subcontractor and is believed to have been heading to take a lift for a break after personally performing welding work for the project when the accident occurred.

The police are investigating site personnel and others to determine whether there was any professional negligence and to clarify the exact circumstances of the accident.
