Trump Urges Zelensky to Accept Deal, Says Agreement Depends on Him
U.S. President Donald Trump, after meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated that whether a ceasefire agreement is reached depends on Ukraine, urging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept the terms.
On the 15th (local time), in an exclusive interview with Fox News following the U.S.-Russia summit in Anchorage, Alaska-which ended with "no deal"-President Trump said that finalizing the agreement that was not reached that day "depends on Zelensky."
President Trump went on to emphasize that "President Zelensky must agree to the terms for a ceasefire."
When asked what advice he would give President Zelensky, he reiterated, "Agree to the deal."
