[Tomorrow's Weather] Rain in Central Regions Until Afternoon of the 15th... Daytime Highs Up to 35 Degrees
On Liberation Day, and through the 15th, rain is expected to fall mainly in the central regions.
Rainfall of 5 to 40 mm is forecast for southern Gyeonggi Province and the Chungcheong region, while 5 to 20 mm is expected in Seoul, Incheon, northern Gyeonggi, the five West Sea islands, and the central and southern inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.

View original imageThe central region will be mostly cloudy at times, while the southern region and Jeju Island are expected to be mostly clear. In the central and eastern parts of North and South Gyeongsang Provinces, localized showers of 5 to 40 mm may occur in the afternoon.
Morning lows will range from 22 to 26 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will reach 30 to 35 degrees, which is similar to or slightly higher than average for this time of year.
With heat wave advisories issued for the Chungcheong region, the southern regions, and Jeju Island, most areas nationwide will experience very hot conditions, with maximum perceived temperatures reaching around 33 degrees Celsius (and around 35 degrees in some southern areas) for the time being. Heat wave advisories in other parts of the central region may also be expanded or strengthened. Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide, due to favorable atmospheric dispersion and precipitation.

Wave heights in the East Sea and West Sea coastal waters will be 0.5 to 1.0 meters, and 0.5 meters in the coastal waters of the South Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in all seas, including the East, West, and South Seas. Along the southern coast and Jeju Island, high waves caused by swells may occasionally wash over rocks, breakwaters, and coastal roads.
