It was reported that A and his wife, B, had a verbal argument, after which A tried to leave the house. When B attempted to stop him, a physical altercation ensued. Police attempted to investigate A on charges of assault, but since B did not wish to pursue charges, the case was classified as a family protection case rather than a criminal case.
