Ubivelox Reports KRW 347.7 Billion in First-Half Sales, Up 24% Year-on-Year
On August 14, Ubivelox announced that its consolidated sales for the first half of this year reached KRW 347.7 billion, representing a 24% increase compared to the same period last year. On a separate basis, first-half sales were KRW 57.1 billion, with operating profit recorded at KRW 2.1 billion.
A representative from Ubivelox stated, "All of our business segments-including smart cards, overseas black boxes, environmental home appliances, and map platforms-achieved comprehensive sales growth, resulting in strong performance compared to the same period last year. In particular, due to heightened social security concerns, our supply volume of USIM and IoT security/authentication chips increased significantly year-on-year, and the supply of high value-added products such as metal cards is also steadily expanding both domestically and internationally. We expect these trends to continue driving our performance growth."
The representative added, "For the first half of the year, our supply volume for BMW's global business more than doubled compared to last year, raising expectations for further growth in our overseas black box business. Additionally, the launch of new products such as the Roborock S9 and Saros Z70 robotic vacuum cleaners, as well as ongoing diversification of our map platform client base, are expected to contribute to strong results in the second half of the year."
