Korea Airports Corporation Launches Gimhae Airport-Exclusive Product "Busan Sand"
Korea Airports Corporation announced on August 14 that it will launch "Busan Sand," a Gimhae Airport-exclusive product, on August 15 to provide airport travelers with a differentiated shopping experience.
Busan Sand is a limited-edition product that travelers can purchase only at the Lotte Duty Free store in Gimhae Airport, jointly planned by the corporation and Lotte Duty Free. The corporation will support the initiative by providing development funding and promotional store space, while Lotte Duty Free will be responsible for product development and sales.
Busan Sand features a soft cookie filled with salted caramel cream, evoking the taste and packaging design reminiscent of the Busan sea. This reflects the unique characteristics of the Busan region and enhances its value as a gift.
Since May, the corporation has held a month-long contest to develop airport-exclusive products, selecting a total of five items, including Busan Sand and Jeju Airport's "Garlic Cookie and Caramel Pudding." These products will be introduced sequentially by the end of the year.
