Pop-up Store to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Liberation
Special Event Marks First Collaboration Between Jeju Samdasoo and Airport Railroad
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation, the producer and distributor of Jeju Samdasoo, announced on August 14 that it has signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Airport Railroad (AREX) to provide Jeju Samdasoo bottled water in the cabins of AREX Express Trains.
Under this agreement, the two companies will offer complimentary Jeju Samdasoo to passengers on the AREX Express Trains, which run non-stop between Incheon International Airport and Seoul Station. Over the next two years, Jeju Development Corporation will supply one million bottles of 0.5L Jeju Samdasoo, while Airport Railroad will actively promote the Jeju Samdasoo brand by utilizing advertising media and available spaces within its stations.
On the AREX Express Trains, cabin crew members currently provide bottled water service. Starting in August, Jeju Samdasoo will be offered to customers upon request, accompanied by promotional audio announcements for the brand.
In addition, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s Liberation, a “Jeju Samdasoo × Airport Railroad Pop-up Store” will be operated inside the paid area of Incheon Airport Terminal 1 Station for eight days from August 15 to 22. This pop-up store marks the first collaborative promotional event between Jeju Samdasoo and Airport Railroad. Visitors can receive limited-edition merchandise by participating in simple events such as following the Jeju Samdasoo and Airport Railroad Instagram accounts.
