Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province is recruiting 96 survey personnel to participate in the '2025 Population and Housing Census' scheduled for November.
According to the city on August 14, the Population and Housing Census is a nationwide basic statistical survey conducted by Statistics Korea every five years. As of the census reference date, all Korean and foreign residents, as well as dwellings, within the sample survey areas (20%) of Jeongeup City will be surveyed. The collected data will serve as foundational material for various policy decisions.
The recruitment period runs until September 17, while applications for field management staff, who will oversee and support on-site surveys, are accepted until August 22. Successful candidates will be individually notified on September 1 for management staff and on September 24 for survey personnel. Applications can be submitted online via the Population and Housing Census website or in person at the Jeongeup City Information and Communications Division.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to dedicate themselves fully during the survey period. Preference will be given to those proficient in using smart devices such as tablets, individuals with experience participating in large-scale statistical surveys such as the 2024 Household and Housing Basic Survey, residents of the survey area, and members of multi-child families, people with disabilities, and low-income households.
