These include the additional relocation of government ministries, the establishment of the Presidential Sejong Office, and the construction of the National Assembly Sejong Building.
On this day, Mayor Choi specifically urged that essential funding be allocated for the construction of the Presidential Sejong Office, which was recently designated as a fast-track project by the National Policy Planning Committee, in order to provide tangible support for the government's commitment to completing the administrative capital.
He also pointed out that, among the 17 metropolitan cities and provinces nationwide, Sejong is the only one without a driver's license test center. As a result, residents must travel more than 40 kilometers for skills tests or license renewals. He emphasized the need to build a driver's license test center to address this inconvenience.

In addition, he requested that the government purchase and nationalize the current site of the Chungnam Forest Resources Research Institute, given that its relocation to Cheongyang has led to the consideration of selling the existing site to the private sector. Previously, Sejong City and South Chungcheong Province signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly respond to the institute's relocation and submitted a proposal to the National Policy Planning Committee requesting the nationalization of the site.
