Over 100 New Original Webtoon Series to Launch Alongside Classic Titles
Naver Webtoon will adapt iconic works from The Walt Disney Company, including Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars, into webtoons.

View original imageThrough this collaboration, major titles from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios will be reimagined as vertical-scroll webtoons. The two companies plan to sequentially release approximately 100 series through a dedicated Disney section that will be newly established within the English app of Naver Webtoon's global platform, WEBTOON.
In addition to adapting existing works into webtoon format, the companies will also create new original webtoon series based on Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios properties. These new original series will span a variety of genres, from superhero adventures to space-themed epics.
The first five titles to be made available through the dedicated Disney section are: The Amazing Spider-Man (2022-present), Avengers (2012), Star Wars (2015), Alien (2021), and A Very Old Story.
