[Photo] Launch of Sejong Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System
The official launch ceremony for the Sejong Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System (RISE) project was held on August 12 at the International Conference Room of the Nongshim International Hall, Korea University Sejong Campus. The event was attended by over 150 representatives from Sejong City, the Sejong RISE Center, participating universities, consortium companies, national research institutes, and other stakeholders from industry, academia, research, and government, marking a successful start. During the ceremony, the main objectives and strategies of Sejong RISE were shared, and the vision for the Handuri Campus, Sejong’s model for higher education innovation, was officially declared.

It embodies the vision of Sejong as a city of 5+1 future strategic industries, connected through a unified campus. Five universities are participating in the Sejong RISE project: Korea University Sejong Campus, Hongik University Sejong Campus, Korea University of Media Arts, Hanbat National University, and Chungbuk National University.
