Any issues identified during the meeting will be addressed in advance to enhance the completeness of the training.
This year's Eulji Exercise will take place over four days, from August 18 to August 21. The goal is to strengthen integrated response capabilities for wartime and emergency situations through national crisis management, wartime transition procedures, and a total national mobilization exercise after the outbreak of war.
In particular, on August 20, a nationwide civil defense drill will be conducted with participation from the entire population, including resident evacuation and emergency vehicle passage training.

Vice Mayor Jang Sanggil stated, "It is necessary to respond to the changing security environment, including self-destructing drones, cyberterrorism, and fake news. We will revise emergency plans to reflect current realities and ensure that every agency and department is fully aware of their duties so that we can do our utmost to protect citizens' safety in any situation."
