Directly Inspecting Facility and Safety Conditions
Hojeong Lee, CEO of SK Networks, is strengthening his on-site management activities by personally visiting business locations to inspect safety measures.
According to SK Networks on August 12, Lee has been visiting external business sites during the summer to encourage employees and directly review the status of safety management.
On July 23, he conducted a thorough inspection at Walkerhill Hotel & Resort, carefully checking not only customer experience areas such as Pizza Hill, the walking trails, and Douglas House, but also spaces where employees work, including the control room, machine room, and kitchen. Amid record-breaking heatwaves, he prioritized monitoring the health management of employees, such as measures to prevent heat-related illnesses, and emphasized the importance of a safe working environment.
Earlier, on July 14, he visited the Information & Communication Division’s Metropolitan Logistics Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, where he expressed appreciation for employees’ hard work during the first half of the year and engaged in open communication. He also closely examined the logistics center’s working environment to check the safety and health conditions of employees’ workspaces.
Lee has consistently emphasized communication management. Since the beginning of this year, he has strengthened communication by meeting with employees every month to listen to their opinions and appearing on the company’s internal broadcasts. In addition, he has held annual management briefings to transparently share the company’s current status and future strategies, presenting a clear vision for the company.
SK Networks highlighted that it has been operating employee health care programs and proactively conducting safety and health management activities in response to issues such as fine dust and heatwaves. Lee stated, "The company’s most important asset is the employees who give their best on the front lines. Listening to their voices and creating a safe working environment is the top priority of management," adding, "Through a corporate culture where employees can take pride and fully demonstrate their capabilities, we will become a company that earns even greater trust from customers and society."
