Yangpyeong County Makes All-Out Efforts to Revitalize Construction Industry... Expands Local Company Participation in Private Projects
Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jeon Jinseon) is exploring various measures to revitalize the local economy through the private construction industry. The county is encouraging the active use of local materials, equipment, and manpower at two private apartment construction sites currently under development within the county.
In particular, the county is making proactive efforts to increase the participation rate of local companies in the construction process, including by directly visiting the headquarters' outsourcing procurement teams of apartment builders scheduled for completion in 2025 and requesting that local materials and equipment be given top priority.
