Gyeonggi Appoints "Ombudsmen" to Resolve SME Challenges
Gyeonggi Province has appointed 20 private-sector experts as "Gyeonggi Business Ombudsmen" to help resolve difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and will begin providing on-site consulting services to address business challenges.
The newly selected ombudsmen will play a role in swiftly diagnosing issues faced by companies and offering practical solutions on-site across 10 key areas: general management, funding and finance, R&D, design and certification, trade and customs, legal affairs, patents, human resources and labor, tax and accounting, domestic and international marketing, and information technology and production management.
SMEs in the province wishing to receive consulting can apply starting August 11 through the Business SOS Net (www.giupsos.or.kr), by phone (1533-1472), or other available channels.
Gyeonggi Province plans to further expand field-oriented policies to strengthen the self-reliance and competitiveness of local businesses, by resolving corporate grievances more professionally and promptly through the Gyeonggi Business Ombudsman consulting program.
