Government Employees Pension Service to Offer Hobby and Health Programs for Retired Public Officials
The Government Employees Pension Service announced on August 7 that it will offer lifestyle, hobby, and health education programs for retired public officials in the second half of the year to support their active and fulfilling retirement.
The programs, which will run for two months in September and October, consist of nine courses, including smartphone photography and video production, baking and pastry making, woodworking practice, and Korean cuisine cooking. In particular, the health and wellness residential program held in Suanbo, Chungju, will be piloted as a "companion program," allowing retired public officials to participate together with colleagues or family members.
Applications for the second half programs are open until August 18, and can be submitted online or via mobile through the Pension Welfare Portal.
The head of the Welfare Operations Office at the Government Employees Pension Service stated, "We will continue to develop education programs tailored to retired public officials and focus on enhancing the quality and substance of educational content so that participants can truly experience the benefits."
