The fundraising involved Sampyo Group's major affiliates, including Sampyo Industries, Sampyo Cement, and SP Nature, and the donation was delivered to the National Disaster Relief Association. The funds will be used for various relief activities, such as providing emergency relief supplies and restoring living environments for residents of Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Gyeongnam, which have been declared special disaster areas.

Yoo Yongjae, Executive Director of Sampyo Group's Social Contribution Team, said, "I would like to express my deepest condolences to everyone who has lost their homes and is suffering due to the sudden heavy rainfall," and added, "We hope you can regain stability and return to your daily lives as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, Sampyo Group has consistently participated in donations for disaster recovery whenever there is a national disaster or calamity. Previously, in March, the company also donated 200 million won to support the swift recovery of areas affected by large-scale wildfires and to assist local residents.
