View original imageA ticket purchase agreement ceremony for the successful hosting of the 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale, scheduled to be held in Jeonnam at the end of this month, took place at the Jeonnam Provincial Government Office on the morning of August 5, 2025.
About 10 representatives from five organizations attended the ceremony, including Kim Jonghun, Vice President of Kwangju Bank; Ryu Jongpil, Head of the Jeonnam Branch of NH Nonghyup Bank; Jang Chungmo, CEO of Jeonnam Development Corporation; Jeong Hoe, CEO of Haeyang Energy; and Park Sihyung, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Mokpo National University. The total amount pledged is approximately 85 million KRW.
Nam Changhwan, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs of Jeonnam Province, stated, "Warm interest in and support for culture and the arts is a driving force that elevates the dignity of our region." He added, "Through this agreement, all participating organizations have joined as representative mecenas companies of Jeonnam and Gwangju, making a meaningful contribution to the development of local arts."
He further emphasized, "We will make every effort in the remaining preparations to ensure that the 2025 Jeonnam International Ink Biennale becomes a festival that moves visitors and revitalizes our region."
