Kang Yujeong, spokesperson for the Presidential Office, made this announcement in a written briefing on the same day.

Spokesperson Kang explained, "President Lee Jaemyung has decided to respect the court's ruling and to correct the unlawful and unjust measures taken by the previous administration by foregoing an appeal."
