Dong-A University Launches 'AI Digital Literacy Education' in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam
The Meta Media Research Institute at Dong-A University, led by Director Kim Daekyung, has signed a business agreement with Eyes Communication, represented by CEO So Hanyeong, to jointly promote digital literacy education in the AI era.

View original imageThrough this agreement, the two organizations will collaborate on the following initiatives: developing AI ethics education content; operating extracurricular programs based on AI and the metaverse; supporting digitally marginalized groups; and providing career experience programs for local elementary, middle, and high school students, all as part of citizen-tailored educational projects.
They also plan to cooperate in building industry-academic and community-linked education models, such as nurturing university student AI instructors, operating digital citizenship schools, applying for government-funded projects, and jointly hosting seminars and forums.
Kim Daekyung, Director of the Meta Media Research Institute, emphasized that this is "a starting point for helping citizens utilize technology ethically and approach information critically in the digital world."
