KB Kookmin Bank Launches Retirement Pension 'AI Discretionary Investment Service'
Automated Management Based on Robo-Advisor
KB Kookmin Bank announced the launch of its retirement pension 'AI Discretionary Investment Service' aimed at enhancing the returns and operational convenience for retirement pension customers. This new service, developed in partnership with fintech specialist December & Company (Fint), a discretionary investment firm, features a robo-advisor (RA) that automatically manages portfolios tailored to each customer's investment preferences and current market conditions.
Notably, the service is structured around an ETF-focused portfolio with relatively short rebalancing cycles, enabling quick and flexible responses to market changes. Customers can efficiently and conveniently manage their individual IRP accounts through the discretionary management of the investment firm based on algorithms, even without professional investment knowledge. The service can be subscribed to via the KB Star Banking application (app).
KB Kookmin Bank plans to expand its partnerships with other discretionary investment firms, such as Mirae Asset Global Investments and Korea Investment Management, within the year to offer customers an even wider range of customized retirement pension services.
