"Dada Camp" is an abbreviation for "Diverse and Colorful Cultural Experience Camp" and has been the flagship social contribution project of JB Financial Group since 2023. By providing educational, cultural, and career exploration experiences to children from multicultural families in the Honam region, the program supports the empowerment and healthy growth of these children.
The camp, held for four days from July 29 at the Jeongeup JB Financial Group Aureum Campus, was enriched to coincide with the summer vacation. The program included financial education with the "Seed Volunteer Group" composed of JB Financial Group employees, a career special lecture by the national paper airplane team "WePlay," indoor orienteering activities, an astronomy class, a multicultural lecture by Lucky, a broadcaster from India, as well as career and community activities, offering a wide range of experiences.
This camp provided a meaningful opportunity for children from diverse cultural backgrounds, including children who immigrated mid-way and children of Koryoin descent, to come together, share, and understand each other's cultures.
Bae Junyeol, head of the Socially Disadvantaged Integration Support Center, stated, "This camp was designed to help children from various cultural backgrounds understand and respect each other's differences and grow together," and added, "We will continue to work with Kwangju Bank to help children nurture their wonderful dreams."
