On the morning of August 4, the Device eXperience (DX) Division of Samsung Electronics announced through an internal notice that it has established a new dedicated organization for key strategic projects called the 'InnoX Lab.' This is the first new organization established since DX Division Head and Acting President Roh Taemoon took office in April. It is seen as a reflection of Roh's commitment. After spending about four months since his appointment closely examining the operational status of the DX Division on-site, Roh determined that a strategic organization tailored to the AI era was necessary and made the decision to launch InnoX Lab.

The name of the organization combines 'innovation' and 'transformation,' signifying its mission to lead change and innovation. The company introduced InnoX Lab as a new organizational model designed for flexible collaboration and rapid execution in the AI era. It is also known as an execution-oriented organization dedicated to company-wide mega projects and challenging strategic projects within each business unit, aiming to deliver tangible results in a short period of time.

Operations began on this day. Going forward, InnoX Lab plans to carry out tasks such as the application and expansion of digital twin solutions, innovation of logistics operation models through the application of logistics AI, promotion of manufacturing automation using physical AI technology, and development of core technologies for humanoid robots. Samsung Electronics will flexibly select and supplement talent with the necessary capabilities for each project, transcending organizational boundaries, and will build a project-centered, organic collaboration system to consolidate the DX Division's core competencies. The company also plans to actively pursue company-wide mega projects through InnoX Lab in the future.
