Daesang Jongga Launches Summer-Exclusive "Oina Bakmul Kimchi"
Seasonal Limited Edition Available Only in August and September
On August 4, Daesang announced that its kimchi brand Jongga has launched a new seasonal specialty kimchi, "Oina Bakmul Kimchi," available exclusively during the summer season.
According to the company, demand for specialty kimchi varieties made with vegetables other than napa cabbage has been increasing recently. In response, Jongga has introduced "Oina Bakmul Kimchi," which uses in-season Korean cucumbers and will only be available in August and September, making it a summer-exclusive product.
The new "Oina Bakmul Kimchi" is a water kimchi made by cutting seasonal cucumbers, radishes, carrots, and pears into bite-sized pieces. When eaten immediately after purchase, it offers a refreshing and clean taste, while fermentation adds a tangy flavor. By adding somyeon or naengmyeon noodles, it can easily be enjoyed as a light summer meal.
Only Korean ingredients are used, and the product is packaged in a PET-type container for convenient storage.
