First-term Lawmaker Kim Younghwan Appointed as Director of Political Affairs
On August 2, Jeong Cheongrae, the newly appointed leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, appointed Han Minsu as Chief of Staff.
After the party convention held at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on the same day, Jeong proceeded with a leadership meeting and then announced some key party appointments.
Kim Younghwan was appointed as Director of Political Affairs, while Kwon Hyangyeop was named Spokesperson.
