The main business is the Korean language education application "Mate," which was launched in May for local users. The service provides conversational learning with an AI tutor for those preparing to study in Korea or for learners at TOPIK Level II.
Learners can solve a set number of TOPIK questions each day and receive explanations and in-depth information. They can also engage in discussions with the AI tutor on topics such as the latest Korean news, or share opinions with other learners.
The local response to this service, which breaks away from traditional one-way rote education, has been enthusiastic. Within just two months of its launch, the app surpassed 15,000 downloads and achieved a rating of 4.9. As word of mouth spreads, the weekly active users (WAU) are also growing by about 50% each week.
