Chungnam Office of Education Holds Practical Training for Special Education Staff
Strengthening Capacity for Tailored Support for Students with Severe and Multiple Disabilities
On August 1, the Chungnam Office of Education held the "2025 Special Education Public Education Staff Learning Program" at the Asan Science Education Institute, targeting 300 special education public education staff members in the province.
This training was designed to strengthen the capacity for tailored support for students with severe and multiple disabilities, targeting special education assistants, school bus guidance staff, and after-school program operation staff.
During the training, Oh Youngseok, a researcher at the Special Education Policy Division of the Ministry of Education, delivered a lecture on "The Educational Needs and Support Directions for Students with Disabilities." Jang Bomi, vice principal of Nasaret Saekkum School, introduced on-site strategies through real-life support cases.
Additionally, a Nanta performance by the Eolssu Social Cooperative, consisting of people with disabilities, was held, providing an opportunity to experience the value of inclusion through art.
