Busan Social Service Institute to Launch Pilot Operation of Online Education Platform for Care Workers in August
Participation of Medical Professionals and Recognition of Mandatory Training Hours
"Plan to Make It Permanent After Verifying Field Suitability"
The Busan Social Service Institute (Director Yoo Kyuwon) has completed the development of an online education website aimed at enhancing the expertise and competency of social service workers and will begin pilot operation starting in August.
This online education platform has been designed with a practical focus, with medical staff from Busan Medical Center and Pusan National University Hospital participating in the creation of educational content to improve the quality of care services. In particular, it is expected to significantly improve learning accessibility, as care workers can participate in training regardless of time or location.
Additionally, this online education program will be recognized as fulfilling the mandatory one-hour training requirement for personnel providing services in the Community Social Service Investment Project, Together Care, Emergency Care, Daily Care, and Housekeeping and Caregiving Services.
The Busan Social Service Institute plans to verify the field suitability of the content through a one-month pilot operation in August, and then expand it into a regular program by reflecting training demand and feedback. The institute will also continue to diversify content and advance the system to further enhance the quality of care services.
