"I used to find kiosks difficult, but after experiencing them firsthand, I feel more confident now," said a participant in the '2025 Active Senior Education Program' at the Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center.
The Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center operated the '2025 Active Senior Education Program' from July 29 to July 31, aiming to strengthen the digital skills of middle-aged and senior citizens and to support healthy leisure activities.
This program was designed for people aged 50 and above and consisted of a total of four courses: basic smartphone skills, kiosk experience, prevention of digital financial fraud, and Tai Chi.
In particular, the program received high satisfaction and enthusiastic responses from participants, as it offered a balanced curriculum that addressed both essential digital skills for daily life and mental and physical health.
This training was not just a simple lecture but was conducted as a hands-on, experience-based program. The digital financial fraud prevention course drew significant attention by presenting various cases of damage along with specific prevention methods and response strategies.
