Yeoju Urban Corporation to Open Ohak Water Playground at Night to Enhance Citizen Convenience
Im Myungjin, President of Yeoju Urban Corporation in Gyeonggi Province, announced on July 29 that the Ohak Water Playground will operate night sessions from August 1 to August 10 to help citizens cope with the summer heat and provide convenient leisure activities.
The night sessions will be open daily from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and visitors must leave by 8:30 p.m. This measure was implemented to meet the demand from citizens who wish to enjoy water activities in a more comfortable and safer environment during the evening, avoiding the extreme heat of the daytime.
The night sessions will be operated in addition to the existing daytime hours, and safety personnel and management staff will be fully deployed during the extended hours to ensure the safety of visitors. Furthermore, facilities such as changing rooms, showers, and rest areas will remain available, allowing visitors to use the playground at night without inconvenience.
Yeoju Urban Corporation stated regarding the night sessions, "After discussions with Yeoju City, we decided to operate at night in response to the voices of citizens who find it difficult to use the facilities during the hot daytime hours."
Im Myungjin, President of Yeoju Urban Corporation, said, "Listening to each and every citizen is the corporation's responsibility. The night sessions have been arranged so that citizens can enjoy a more comfortable and refreshing summer, and we hope many people will take advantage of this opportunity."
