Yangcheon-gu Introduces Ttaenggyeoyo for the First Time... Issues 1.6 Billion Won in Yangcheon Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificates
Yangcheon-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Gijae) announced on the 28th that it has signed a business agreement with Shinhan Bank to introduce a public-private partnership delivery app and will issue the delivery-exclusive "Yangcheon Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate" starting from August 8 to promote mutual prosperity between local small business owners and consumers.

This initiative was established to support the management stability of small business owners who are facing financial difficulties due to high brokerage fees of private delivery apps and decreased consumption resulting from rising dining-out prices. It also aims to provide consumers with more choices in delivery platforms and to alleviate household expenses.
Small business owners can reduce their cost burden through the "three-zero" benefits: a significantly reduced brokerage fee of 2% compared to private delivery apps, no entry fee, no advertising fee, and no monthly usage fee. In addition, payments for orders are settled on the same day or the following day, which is advantageous for cash flow.
Consumers can purchase the gift certificates at a 15% discounted price and receive a 30% income tax deduction on the amount used. Furthermore, by utilizing various promotions and discount events within the public delivery app, they can enjoy additional cost savings.
The gift certificates can be purchased through the Seoul Pay Plus (SeoulPay+) app, with a monthly purchase limit of 100,000 won per person and a holding limit of 1 million won. After purchase, they can only be used at affiliated stores within the public delivery app for one year.
Meanwhile, Yangcheon-gu plans to encourage local small business owners to register as affiliated stores to promote the use of the "Yangcheon Ttaenggyeoyo Gift Certificate" and to increase consumer usage rates through publicity activities in cooperation with related organizations and professional associations.
