Imsil County Issues "Clean Government Advisory" for Summer Vacation Season
Fostering a Culture of Integrity in the Organization
Imsil County in North Jeolla Province has issued a "Clean Government Advisory" until the end of next month to prevent lax discipline among public officials during the summer vacation season and to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.
According to the county on July 29, this advisory is a measure to prevent corruption and acts that could damage the dignity of public officials, which may occur during the summer vacation period when discipline tends to weaken, and to raise awareness among employees.
The main points include: ▲ Prohibition of private contact (such as travel or golf) with parties related to official duties ▲ Prohibition of receiving any money or conveniences such as vacation expenses or accommodations from parties related to official duties ▲ Prohibition of acts that damage dignity such as excessive drinking, drunk driving, gambling, or sexual crimes while on vacation ▲ Prohibition of delaying or neglecting civil complaints under the pretext of the vacation season.
The county plans to share the details of the advisory with all employees through the internal bulletin board and will conduct special inspections in parallel to establish strict discipline among public officials. If any violations are detected, the county has stated that strict accountability will be enforced.
