View original imageOn July 29, Gongyoung Home Shopping announced that it has opened a "Special Flood-Affected Area Hall" on its online mall to help partner companies in flood-affected regions expand their sales channels. This initiative is intended to support partner companies and manufacturers located in the six local governments that have been declared special disaster zones.
Through this special section, Gongyoung Home Shopping plans to sell approximately 50 products from partner companies in the affected regions. To encourage consumption, the company will run a promotional event for one week until August 5, offering customers a 10% reward credit for purchasing these products.
Meanwhile, on July 27, Lee Jongwon, the co-CEO of Gongyoung Home Shopping, visited the partner company "Kim Jeonggyu Nature Health Agricultural Cooperative Corporation" in Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, to assess the damage and discuss practical support measures such as reducing TV home shopping sales commissions. Gongyoung Home Shopping plans to continue supporting sales channels through policy support broadcasts in cooperation with local governments, as well as delivering donations and carrying out other activities to aid recovery in flood-affected areas.
