93% of SMEs Satisfied with Gyeonggi FTA Center Support Programs
It has been found that 93% of participating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are satisfied with the Gyeonggi Regional FTA Trade Promotion Center project.
On July 29, Gyeonggi Province announced that, according to a survey of 2,427 SME employees in the province, 1,583 participated, and 1,468 respondents?93% of all respondents?gave a positive evaluation of being 'satisfied' or higher with the support programs provided by the Gyeonggi FTA Center. In particular, the customized consulting program received high marks.
In addition, more than 90% of participating companies responded that they were 'satisfied' with programs such as carbon border tax, non-tariff barriers, specialized online platform training, and marketing support.
As for programs they hope to participate in the future, respondents cited on-site FTA comprehensive consulting visits and regional tours for education on FTA, trade, and commerce-related topics.
Park Kyungseo, Director of International Trade at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi FTA Center will actively support our companies by responding proactively to the rapidly changing trade environment and strengthening customized support that provides practical help to businesses, in order to enhance the global competitiveness of our companies."

Gyeonggi Province will continue to provide multifaceted support in the second half of this year to strengthen the trade competitiveness of local companies. The province will dispatch an additional trade environment research team to the United States for the semiconductor sector and promote support for responding to US cosmetics regulations (FDA-MoCRA). In addition, export consultation meetings for North America and the Middle East are also under consideration to diversify export markets.
