This expo, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and joined by more than 20 related organizations, is the largest children's safety experience event in the country. During the event, children participated in hands-on experiences and education covering various safety situations in their daily lives, including disaster safety, daily life safety, traffic safety, and first aid.
At this expo, Hope Bridge provided programs such as disaster preparedness planning, survival kit making, and virtual shelter experience, helping children to learn about disasters, feel them, and take action.
One parent commented, "At the Hope Bridge booth, the process of disaster preparedness and survival kit making was explained in detail, so not only my children but I also learned a lot."
A child participant said, "When there was a wildfire in Andong, my grandmother stayed in a shelter. Seeing an actual shelter and relief kit here today was fascinating, and I was able to understand in detail what role a shelter plays."
