A new series depicting the diverse human characters within the K-pop entertainment industry is set to be produced.
On July 28, Netflix announced the production of a new series titled 'Variety' and confirmed the casting of Son Yejin and Jo Yuri. Son Yejin will play Saeun, the CEO of South Korea's top entertainment company. Saeun struggles to renew a contract with a famous idol group and is expected to make cold, calculated decisions for her goals. Jo Yuri will portray Seunghee, an obsessive fan who follows the idol group with intense devotion.
