Korea Polytechnic University to Hold 'Geobukseom Revitalization Policy Seminar' on July 29
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the "Geobukseom Revitalization Public-Private-Academic-Research Cooperation Policy Seminar" on July 29 at the Industry-Academic Cooperation Hall of Korea Polytechnic University’s Second Campus, to explore development directions for the Geobukseom area and solutions for revitalizing its commercial district.
The seminar, co-hosted by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and the RISE Project Group of Korea Polytechnic University, will diagnose potential stagnation factors in Geobukseom and discuss actionable strategies to overcome them.

The seminar will begin with opening remarks by Hwang Soosung, President of Korea Polytechnic University, followed by keynote presentations and a comprehensive discussion. Topics to be discussed include directions for fostering the Geobukseom commercial district, strategies for establishing a local governance system, and the role and tasks of the university in supporting local revitalization through collaboration.
