Andong International Mask Dance Festival Begins Advance Ticket Sales with Discounts Up to 33%

Andong City in North Gyeongsang Province and the Korea Spirit and Culture Foundation will begin advance sales of performance reservation tickets for the '2025 Andong International Mask Dance Festival,' which will be held for ten days from September 26 to October 5. Advance ticket sales will start on July 28.
The advance reservation period runs until September 5, and tickets can be purchased at up to 33% lower prices compared to on-site sales. General admission tickets are priced at 6,000 KRW (on-site price: 8,000 KRW), and student tickets are available for 4,000 KRW (on-site price: 6,000 KRW). All advance ticket purchasers will receive a payback benefit in the form of a 'Mask Dance Love Coupon' worth 2,000 KRW.
Tickets can be purchased online through major portal platforms such as Naver and KakaoTalk, as well as offline at the General Civil Service Office at Andong City Hall, 24 township and neighborhood administrative welfare centers, and designated sales locations. Purchased reservation tickets can be exchanged for admission tickets at the on-site ticket office during the festival period.
This year's festival will feature a variety of performances by troupes from around the world, including 'Korean Mask Dance,' which is inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In particular, the festival will serve as a venue for international cultural exchange, where visitors can enjoy spectacular mask dance performances and performances from various countries.
An Andong City official stated, "Since advance reservations offer both discounts and payback benefits, we hope that many citizens and tourists will join this festival and fully experience the charm of Andong," adding, "We will thoroughly prepare to ensure that the festival establishes itself as Korea's leading global festival."
