The Tongmyong University RISE Project Group (Director: Lee Hwahaeng) and the Busan Export Club (President: Kim Jongnam) have joined forces to ensure the successful implementation of the Regional Innovation-led University Support System (RISE) project.

View original imageAt the signing ceremony held on July 22 at the main building of Tongmyong University, the two organizations agreed to cooperate in various fields, including: ▲ nurturing practical talents tailored to local industry demands ▲ giving preferential treatment to the recruitment of outstanding local-based talents ▲ providing education for employees of industrial companies ▲ and conducting joint industry-academia R&D projects.
Director Lee Hwahaeng stated, "Through collaboration with the Busan Export Club, which leads Busan's export industry, we will establish a win-win model where local companies and the university can grow together."
President Kim Jongnam emphasized, "The RISE project will serve as an opportunity to resolve the talent mismatch between universities and companies," and added, "We will actively work to nurture and expand the recruitment of local-based talents."
This agreement is expected to serve as a turning point for innovation and talent development in the Busan region, providing a cooperative model between local universities and small and medium-sized enterprises.
