Saeul Nuclear Headquarters Delivers LED Smart Silver Canes to Elderly in Vulnerable Groups
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Headquarters (Director So Yoo-seop) provided a total of 430 LED smart silver canes worth 15 million won on July 24 to elderly individuals in vulnerable groups with limited mobility in 43 villages of Onyang-eup, Ulju-gun.

View original imageThis support was implemented to assist elderly individuals in vulnerable groups who experience difficulties with walking or purchasing a cane. The LED smart silver cane is equipped with an LED lamp that enhances visibility, which is expected to help ensure safe walking even at night.
The LED smart silver canes delivered on this day will be personally distributed to elderly individuals with limited mobility in the 43 villages of Onyang-eup, Ulju-gun by members of the Namulju Lions Club (President Bae Geunseok) and each village head.
Yoon Sungho, Director of External Cooperation, stated, "We hope that the LED smart silver canes will help improve mobility and contribute, even in a small way, to a healthy life in old age for the elderly." He added, "Saeul Headquarters will continue to do its best to promote the real welfare of local residents and realize social value."
