Boryeong City Launches "Boryeong Love Discount Coupon"
Discounts Available at 14 Restaurants and Tourist Attractions During the Mud Festival
Boryeong City in South Chungcheong Province announced on July 24 that it will operate the "Boryeong Love Discount Coupon" program to boost the local economy during the 28th Boryeong Mud Festival, which will be held from July 25 to August 10.
The "Boryeong Love Discount Coupon" will be provided to festival visitors who purchase admission tickets, offering various discounts at restaurants, cafes, accommodations, and major tourist attractions within Boryeong City.
The coupons can be used until August 20, and are expected to invigorate the local commercial district.
This coupon program includes a total of 14 participating locations, including 8 tourist attractions (Gaehwa Art Park, Sanghwalwon, Ziptrack Korea, Mud Beauty Healing Center, Sky Bike, Coal Museum, Jeongchon Organic Farm, Badukine Zoo), 5 restaurants and cafes (Bytheo, Lily's Cafe, Milk Warehouse, Herb Restaurant, Hanwoo 88 Wholesale Store), and 1 accommodation (Jeongchon Organic Farm), all offering discounts on admission and usage fees.
A city official stated, "This discount coupon was designed as a festival operation model that not only provides practical entertainment for tourists but also promotes mutual growth with local small business owners," adding, "We hope visitors to Boryeong will enjoy a richer and more economical trip."
