Creating Summer Vacation Memories at Starfield
27 Sessions at 6 Locations Over 4 Weeks... 1,400 Participants
Shinsegae Property announced on July 23 that it will host 'Starfield Play' to provide local children with opportunities for cultural and entertainment experiences during the summer vacation.
Starfield Play is Shinsegae Property's flagship social contribution program, which has been ongoing since 2018. Since 2022, the company has also operated 'Byulkkum Supporters,' a volunteer group of employees who participate voluntarily to assist with the activities.
This year's event will be held over 27 sessions until August 15 at Starfield Hanam, Goyang, Anseong, and Suwon, as well as Starfield City Bucheon and Myeongji. A total of 1,400 local children will participate in the activities, and approximately 250 Shinsegae Property employees will serve as Byulkkum Supporters, acting as both 'playmates' and 'safety guides' for the children.
The company will also expand the 'Classkok' content, which can only be experienced at Starfield, to all locations. Local children and employee Byulkkum Supporters will team up to make items such as pipe cleaner doll keyrings and character candles together.
Each location will also offer time for children to develop a spirit of challenge and teamwork by playing with friends at indoor sports entertainment facility 'Smob,' kids' activity theme parks 'Champion' and 'Champion the Black Belt,' and more.
