Missing Persons Found After Extreme Heavy Rain in Sancheong ... One Each in Mogo-ri and Bangmok-ri
Two of the four people who went missing in Sancheong County, Gyeongnam Province, after extreme heavy rainfall have been found dead.
According to Gyeongnam Province, at around 3:20 p.m. on July 22, a man in his seventies was found dead near the entrance to Mogo Village in Danseong-myeon, Sancheong County, four days after he went missing.
At around 4:08 p.m., a woman in her sixties was found in a state of cardiac arrest in Bangmok-ri, Danseong-myeon. She was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

View original imageWith the discovery of the two missing persons deceased, the death toll from the heavy rainfall in Sancheong has risen to 12. Two people remain missing, one from Yulhyeon-ri in Sindeung-myeon and the other from Wasong-ri in Sinan-myeon.
Gyeongnam Province and fire authorities are continuing their search for the missing persons.
